Keith Peter Thomas Francis John Duffy, born on 1st October 1974.
At the age of 19 Keith joined Irish boy band Boyzone, by 1999 they had 19 singles in the top 40 of the UK charts and 21 singles in the Irish Charts with a total of 6 UK number one singles and 9 number one singles in Ireland. Boyzone are one of the most successful bands in Ireland and the United Kingdom with over 20 million records sold worldwide.
When Boyzone took a break in 1999 Keith got involved with TV presenting and his profile was raised as a result of his appearance on the first series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2001.
Keith is also an actor – with performances spanning all genres. He first took to the stage in 2005 in a play called ‘Dandelions’, later that same year he played the title in The Wizard Of Oz’, he was in The Bombmaker (Sky1), 6 episodes of Irish soap ‘The Clinic’ and a film called The Three Crosses. Most notably Keith has been playing Ciaran McCarthy in long running British soap ‘Coronation Street’.
Keith ran the London marathon in April 2009 in an amazing 3hrs 52 minutes.
Keith and Lisa appeared on (and won) All Star Mr & Mrs (ITV1), Keith was on the gameshow The Door (ITV1) and all The Duffy’s appeared on All Star Family Fortunes (ITV) raising thousands for charity.
In June 1998 in Las Vegas Keith married his ‘soul mate’ Lisa Smith and they have two children Jay (born 1996) and Mia (born 2000).
